Dear Church Family,
I can’t begin to tell you how special Denise and I felt for the wonderful, fantastic Retirement Party you gave us! We were truly blessed that so many of you will able to attend. The Saturday evening meal was great, and the entertainment was a lot of fun even though it showed Denise and I still have a lot to learn about one another!
Sunday was very special. The worship service greatly blessed us as we heard a large choir of voices sing “Friends,” a song that will now always have special meaning for us. To be sure, sharing the Lord’s Supper with you was truly meaningful as well.
We enjoyed the Open House! There was lots of food and lots of guests. Thanks for hosting that for us. And a special thanks to all the planners and workers and creators of our special weekend! Your kindness we will always hold dear.
I was overwhelmed with your gifts to me. The steaks that prefer to remain anonymous, the future trip, the ipad (especially the ipad), the gift card, the ipad accessories, the checks – I was greatly blessed! Thank you so much for your generosity!
You will be in our prayers, and ask that you keep us in your prayers. May the God of mercy and hope bless and keep you in His tender loving care.
